Accounts Receivable Junior Analyst
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team at Page Personnel Spain. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for monitoring debt collection, performing daily accounting controls, and reconciling payments with invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments with clients via email and phone contact.
- Perform daily accounting controls to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
- Reconcile payments with invoices to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including ageing reports and internal control reports (SOX).
- Contribute to cash flow forecasts by providing information on customer payments.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide concise and high-quality information.
- Coordinate with legal entities to maximize client collections through joint actions.
- Propose improvements to enhance efficiency within the collections area and accounts receivable team.
- Review and process draft invoices and refunds, and communicate with customers.
- Stay up-to-date with local tax billing rules and electronic invoicing platforms.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in collections or billing, with tasks similar to those described above.
- Experience with accounts receivable modules in ERPs.
- Vocational training (FP) or higher related to the described functions.
- Experience in team management.
- A strong focus on teamwork and customer service, with a flexible and proactive attitude.
- Languages: English B2. Fluency in German, Dutch, or French is highly valued.
