Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Insights Analyst to join our team at Envista. This role is pivotal in driving our financial performance and supporting our sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and analyze monthly financial reports, including bookings, sales, and margin analysis, ensuring high-quality insights and commentary. Conduct in-depth financial evaluations, including advanced modeling and profitability assessments, while proactively communicating findings and actionable recommendations. Collaborate with the Selling & Marketing team to design, implement, and assess campaign effectiveness. Assist in setting sales compensation targets and evaluate performance on a monthly basis. Develop trend analyses to assess the effectiveness of sales compensation programs, working closely with Finance, Sales, and HR to enhance program efficiency. Oversee the accounting processes for all Sales Compensation Programs, including commissions and bonuses. Support the Regional Controller in budget development, planning, and other corporate financial requirements. Identify and refer accounts for write-off in accordance with established policies. Perform account reconciliations as necessary. Manage a portfolio of key customers to optimize accounts receivable and days sales outstanding (DSO). Collaborate with Sales Managers and representatives to discuss customer order statuses and new opportunities. Address adjustments, handle inquiries, and resolve issues within company guidelines. Provide support for other accounting functions as needed.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a sales analyst capacity. Proficiency in both Italian and English; Spanish language skills are a plus. Strong ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality. Comprehensive understanding of credit approval processes, policies, and regulations. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong project management capabilities and a self-motivated approach. Ability to work independently and effectively in a self-directed environment. Advanced skills in Excel, SAP FI/CO, BI, and Hyperion/HFM. Solid technical knowledge in Accounting, Controlling, and US GAAP. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate across various levels and cultures. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for managing new projects and responsibilities with minimal guidance.
