CONTEXT AND TEAM

The "Move AXA to the Cloud" initiative represents a significant global transformation for AXA.

The aim is to transition a substantial portion of the current application ecosystem to a secure hybrid cloud framework, which includes both public and privately managed infrastructures, ensuring standardization and efficiency.

The Global Business and Service Operations (GBSO) division is responsible for the management and operation of AXA's cloud solutions, encompassing both the Public Cloud (utilizing Azure & AWS) and the Private Cloud Point of Delivery (POD) across multiple data centers.

The GBSO team comprises specialists in ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management, alongside technologies such as Backup, Networking, Virtualization, Monitoring/Observability, and Compute/Storage. The team also ensures service delivery directly to clients through their Service Delivery Management unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the GBSO team, the Cloud Services Manager is tasked with ensuring optimal performance of the Public Cloud AWS services. This role serves as a liaison between development and operations, participating in agile ceremonies and overseeing daily operational activities for cloud-based products.

You will be responsible for:

1 - Overseeing the operational performance of AWS services provided to AXA clients through Managed Public Infrastructure

Collaborating with the respective CSP MPI Service Delivery team to report on service quality metrics (KPIs, OLA, etc.) Governing the services rendered by the CSP AWS Ensuring third-party vendors meet service quality standards (KPIs, SLAs, etc.) Engaging with various stakeholders across regions to ensure AXA activities are effectively managed. Assisting in the resolution of CSP / Provisioning MPI-related incidents as needed. Coordinating with the Product Delivery team to incorporate operational needs into Project Increment planning.

2 - Managing the operational aspects of CSP (AWS) and Provisioning solutions

Acting as the primary contact for all operational topics related to CSP / Provisioning within the MPI organization. Representing the CSP / Provisioning Operations Team in technical discussions with CapGemini. Participating in operational governance with CapGemini and regional teams on technical matters. Communicating operational needs as new CSP / Provisioning features are introduced. Identifying requirements and collaborating with the QA team on test cases from an operational perspective. Proposing enhancements in logging, monitoring, and support documentation. Ensuring technical maintenance is conducted by CapGemini. Serving as the main point of contact for Change Management regarding change requests impacting CSPs / Provisioning. Evaluating CapGemini's technical upgrade proposals and securing stakeholder buy-in. Suggesting potential evolutions of the solution. Supporting management with relevant technical information for informed operational decisions.

3 - Acting as the Operational Process Owner for CSP (AWS) and Provisioning within the MPI

Ensuring all stakeholders understand the processes, organizing training sessions for MPI Operations teams as necessary. Owning and monitoring the CSP (AWS) metrics Dashboard. Ensuring CapGemini delivers the full range of services as per contractual agreements, validating KPI / SLA results. Contributing to continuous process improvement by challenging suppliers and tracking execution of improvement plans. Assisting in the definition and evolution of contracts concerning CSP and Provisioning. Providing strong support for CSP / Provisioning operations as needed. Ensuring stakeholders understand the impact of fixes, patches, and upgrades. Aiding CapGemini in communicating significant changes to stakeholders. Leading operational governance for short and mid-term evolutions.

4 - Contributing as a technical operational expert to various ITIL processes as required (primarily IPC)

Approving Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) provided by CapGemini on CSP / Provisioning. Participating in the analysis of change requests from the MPI Change Advisory Board (CAB). Representing the IaaS Global Operations team in discussions with CapGemini regarding CSP / Provisioning. Responsible for creating and updating operational documentation to enhance Knowledge Management around CSP / Provisioning topics. Your Profile


• Experience in a systems administrator role

• Proficient in using AWS public cloud services

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

• Diverse technical background with knowledge in security, networking, multi-tiered infrastructure, databases, and application platforms

• Understanding of architectural principles of cloud-based platforms, including IaaS components

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and environment automation for provisioning and operations (Terraform with AWS).

• Knowledge of cloud offerings and ability to discuss cloud architectures

• Experience with IaaC & DevOps (Terraform Enterprise, AWS CodeCommit and CodeDeploy)

• Relevant certifications on CSP (AWS)

• Basic knowledge of Cyberark, Puppet, and Dynatrace

• Proficient in infrastructure automation and architecture

• Strong relationship management skills with a diverse range of stakeholders

• Experience managing international teams in a multicultural environment

• Self-motivated and proactive with minimal supervision

• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Customer-focused and solution-oriented

• Willingness to travel as necessary to engage with experts across regions

• Flexible and available for exceptional events

Language skills :

·Advanced English: Capable of participating in meetings, proposing ideas, and understanding documentation and requests, both written and spoken.
