CONTEXT AND TEAM

The "Move AXA to the Cloud" initiative represents a significant global transformation for AXA.

The aim is to transition a substantial portion of the current application ecosystem to a secure hybrid cloud framework, involving both public and privately managed infrastructures, ensuring efficiency and standardization.

The Global Business and Service Operations (GBSO) division is responsible for managing AXA's cloud solutions, whether they are hosted on Public Cloud platforms like Azure and AWS or within the Private Cloud infrastructure located across multiple data centers.

The GBSO team comprises specialists in ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management, as well as technologies related to Backup, Networking, Virtualization, Monitoring, and Storage. In addition to their technical expertise, the team ensures direct service delivery to customers through their Service Delivery Management unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the GBSO team, the Cloud Services Manager is tasked with ensuring optimal performance of the Public Cloud services, specifically AWS. This role acts as a liaison between development and operations, participating in agile ceremonies while overseeing daily operational activities related to cloud-based products.

You will be responsible for:

1 - Overseeing the operational performance of AWS services delivered to AXA clients through Managed Public Infrastructure

Collaborating with the CSP MPI Service Delivery team to communicate service quality metrics to clients. Managing the services provided by AWS. Ensuring third-party vendors meet quality standards. Engaging with various stakeholders across regions to ensure AXA's operational activities are effectively managed. Assisting in the resolution of CSP-related incidents as needed. Coordinating with the Product Delivery team to incorporate operational needs into project planning.

2 - Taking full operational ownership of the AWS and Provisioning solutions

Serving as the primary contact for all operational matters related to CSP and Provisioning. Representing the CSP/Provisioning Operations Team in technical discussions with partners. Participating in operational governance discussions with partners regarding technical and operational matters. Engaging in communication with stakeholders as new features are introduced. Identifying needs for quality assurance and collaborating on test case creation. Proposing enhancements in monitoring and support documentation. Ensuring technical maintenance is conducted by the appropriate teams. Analyzing change requests that impact CSPs and Provisioning. Evaluating technical upgrade proposals and securing stakeholder agreement. Suggesting potential evolutions of the solution. Supporting management with relevant technical insights for operational decision-making.

3 - Acting as the Operational Process Owner for CSP and Provisioning

Ensuring all stakeholders understand the processes and organizing training sessions as necessary. Monitoring and managing the CSP metrics dashboard. Ensuring the delivery of services as per contractual agreements with partners. Contributing to process improvement initiatives. Supporting the evolution of contracts related to CSP and Provisioning. Providing operational support as needed. Ensuring stakeholders are informed about the impact of updates and changes. Leading operational governance discussions regarding future developments.

4 - Contributing as a technical expert in ITIL processes

Reviewing root cause analyses provided by partners. Participating in the evaluation of change requests. Representing the IaaS Global Operations team in discussions regarding CSP and Provisioning. Ensuring proper documentation is created and updated to enhance knowledge management. Your Profile


• Experience in systems administration

• Proficient in AWS public cloud services

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

• Strong technical background across various domains including security, networking, and databases

• Understanding of cloud architecture principles

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and environment automation (e.g., Terraform with AWS).

• Knowledge of cloud offerings and architectures

• Familiarity with IaaC & DevOps tools

• Relevant certifications in AWS

• Basic knowledge of Cyberark, Puppet, and Dynatrace

• Strong relationship management skills

• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
