CONTEXT AND TEAM

The "Move AXA to the Cloud" initiative represents a significant global transformation for AXA.

The goal is to transition a substantial portion of the current application ecosystem to a secure hybrid cloud environment, encompassing both public and privately managed infrastructures, referred to as Point of Delivery (POD). This transition aims to standardize and streamline existing systems.

The Global Business and Service Operations (GBSO) division is responsible for managing AXA's cloud solutions, whether through the Public Cloud (utilizing Azure & AWS) or the Private Cloud Point of Delivery (POD) hosted across multiple data centers.

The GBSO team comprises specialists in ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management, as well as technologies such as Backup, Networking, Virtualization, Monitoring/Observability, and Compute/Storage. In addition to process and technology expertise, the team ensures direct service delivery to customers through their Service Delivery Management unit.

MISSIONS

As a member of the GBSO team, the Cloud Services Manager is responsible for ensuring optimal performance of the Public Cloud AWS services. This role acts as a liaison between development and operations, participating in agile ceremonies and overseeing day-to-day operational activities related to cloud-based products.

You will :

1 - Oversee the operational performance of the selected Cloud Service Provider (AWS) services delivered to AXA clients through Managed Public Infrastructure

Collaborate with the respective CSP MPI Service Delivery team to report on service quality (KPIs, OLA, ...) Govern the services provided by the CSP AWS Ensure that third-party vendors deliver services at the required quality levels (KPIs, SLAs, ...) Maintain close communication with various stakeholders across regions (DBA, VM SME, SQL SME, Backup and Restore operations, Disaster Recovery operations, OS operations) to ensure AXA-managed activities are effectively coordinated. Assist in resolving CSP / Provisioning MPI-related incidents as needed by the Incident Management team Work with the Product Delivery team to incorporate Operations CSP / Provisioning requirements into Project Increment planning.

2 - Manage the CSP (AWS) and Provisioning solution operationally from end to end

Serve as the primary contact for all operational CSP / Provisioning matters within the MPI organization Represent the CSP / Provisioning Operations Team in technical discussions with CapGemini Participate in operational governance with CapGemini and regional teams regarding technical and operational matters Act as a representative for Operations as new CSP / Provisioning features are introduced by the MPI organization and facilitate communication with operational stakeholders. Identify needs and collaborate with the QA team to create test cases from an operational perspective for product releases. Regularly review necessary regression tests. Propose enhancements in logging, monitoring, and support documentation. Ensure that technical maintenance is conducted by CapGemini Serve as the main point of contact for Change Management to evaluate change requests affecting the CSPs / Provisioning. Challenge CapGemini's technical upgrade proposals and secure buy-in from relevant stakeholders within the MPI organization Suggest potential evolutions of the solution. Support Management by providing relevant technical information to facilitate informed operational decisions while maintaining operational integrity and security.

3 - Act as the Operational Process Owner for CSP (AWS) and Provisioning within the MPI

Ensure that the process is comprehensively understood by all stakeholders: when necessary, organize training sessions on CSP for MPI Operations teams. Own and monitor the CSP (AWS) metrics Dashboard. Ensure CapGemini delivers the complete range of services expected regarding CSP / Provisioning as outlined in the contract: be the owner of CSP / provisioning KPI / SLA defined in the contract with CapGemini and validate their regular results. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes (optimize, rationalize, standardize) and services by challenging suppliers and requesting optimization proposals, tracking the execution of agreed improvement plans. Contribute to the definition and evolution of the contract concerning CSP and Provisioning aspects. Provide strong support for CSP / Provisioning operations as needed. Ensure that the implications of fixes, patches, and upgrades are fully understood and anticipated by relevant stakeholders. Assist CapGemini in communicating significant changes to various stakeholders. Lead Operational Governance to manage short and mid-term evolutions.

4 - Contribute as a technical operational expert to various ITIL processes as required (primarily IPC)

Approve Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) provided by CapGemini on CSP / Provisioning. Contribute to the analysis of change requests made by the MPI Change Advisory Board (CAB) as needed. Represent the IaaS Global Operations team in discussions with CapGemini regarding all CSP / Provisioning matters. Be responsible for creating and updating appropriate documentation for operations and end users to enhance Knowledge Management around CSP / Provisioning topics. Your Profile


• Practical experience in a systems administrator role

• Proficient in utilizing AWS public cloud services

• Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies

• Strong multidisciplinary technical background and knowledge across various domains such as security, networking, multi-tiered infrastructure, databases, integration, and application platforms

• Solid understanding of architectural principles of cloud-based platforms, including IaaS components

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, along with knowledge of environment automation for provisioning, upgrades, deployment, and on-demand operations (Terraform with AWS).

• Familiarity with all cloud offerings in the market and ability to discuss cloud architectures

• Experience with IaaC & DevOps (Terraform Enterprise, AWS CodeCommit, and CodeDeploy)

• Specialist / Architect certifications in CSP (AWS)

• Basic knowledge of Cyberark

• Basic knowledge of Puppet

• Basic knowledge of Dynatrace

• Infrastructure automation and architecture expertise

• Strong aptitude for relationship management with a diverse range of stakeholders

• Capable of managing international teams in a multicultural environment

• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and proactive
