Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our regional sales team to deliver exceptional performance in revenue and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build and Manage Sales Team

Develop and lead a high-performing sales team in Spain, focusing on delivering best-in-class performance in revenue and growth.

Drive Sales Strategy

Collaborate with our marketing, R&D, and international sales teams to identify market needs and execute effective sales strategies for our Coronary Sinus Reducer product.

Forecast and Analyze Sales Performance

Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue streams, analyzing market trends and customer behavior to inform sales strategies.

Develop and Implement Sales Plans

Identify and develop effective sales plans, leveraging your expertise in the medical device market to drive therapy adoption and maximize sales revenues.

Coach and Develop Sales Representatives

Provide coaching, advice, and support to sales representatives, helping them develop their professional maturity and exceed their sales objectives.

Train and Motivate Sales Team

Train and motivate sales representatives to structure deals that exceed revenue expectations, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

Resolve Conflicts and Escalate Issues

Serve as an escalation point for issues beyond team authority, resolving conflicts and ensuring the sales team operates effectively.

Perform Sales Activities

Perform sales activities for the assigned geographic area, achieving or exceeding therapy development and revenue objectives.

Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Knowledge

Stay abreast of new product and industry knowledge, disseminating this information to the sales team to ensure they are equipped to succeed.

Collaborate with Marketing

Work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches and sales growth.

Participate in Sales Meetings

Participate in sales team meetings, sales management meetings, and quarterly business reviews, providing insights and expertise to inform sales strategies.

Monitor Sales Trends and Performance

Monitor area sales trends and product performance results, using this data to inform sales strategies and optimize performance.

Follow Company Policies

Follow all company safety policies and safety procedures, maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies and regulations.

Provide Expense Reports

Provide detailed expense reports on a weekly basis, using our concur system to track and manage expenses.

Support Warehouse and Customer Service

Requirements

  1. Language and Communication

Native or bilingual in Spanish, fluent in English, with excellent communication skills and a convincing personality.

Medical Device Experience

Experience in the medical device market, especially interventional cardiology, with good clinical cathlab experience.

Commercial Execution

Strong practical commercial execution background, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and revenue.

Problem-Solving and Adaptability

Proven problem-solving skills, with a high willingness to travel and adapt to changing market conditions.

Knowledge of Sales Channels

Good knowledge of in-country sales channels and the medical device market situation, including competitor activities and pricing.
