About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer, EMEA will provide strategic leadership as we continue through an exciting period of organisational transformation and transition our Finance operating model.

This position has overall accountability for the development and execution of the Finance strategy in the region, partnering with the EMEA President, to define the business strategy, plan and deliver upon key objectives while steering the region's performance and direction to ensure effective management of all financial resources.

The successful candidate will enable us to optimize our financial reporting, planning, analysis, tools, and processes to prepare business leaders for growth and create shareholder value.

You will bring credibility, insight, and financial fluency to interactions with internal and external constituents, including investors, analysts, financing providers, and partners.

The CFO, EMEA will be based in the EU, reporting functionally to Otis' global CFO and operationally to the President, EMEA.

Key Accountabilities

  • Embody the Otis' Absolutes and leadership behaviours, be a role model and lead on our culture statements.
  • Drive effective collaboration and effective ways of working across our Otis enterprise and Finance operating model.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial planning and control programs to assist leadership in the implementation of viable business plans and the achievement of financial goals and objectives.
  • Lead the transformation of the Finance function into a best-in-class, global, and agile value-creating organization.
  • Align the business strategy to the business model and ensure the strategic metrics are in place to measure business growth and potential.
  • Partner with the EMEA President and his leadership team to identify new areas of growth, new business models, and untapped markets.
  • Collaborate effectively with the market CFOs and financial and business partners globally.
  • Orient the activities of the finance function, including the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, financial statements, and certifications.
  • Improve working capital in the region by effective management of accounts receivables, credit, collections, payment terms to vendors, and terms for project financing.
  • Develop your team through the acquisition, coaching, and engagement of talent across your function and region.
  • Partner with the engineering and operations organization to improve all operating metrics for new product development, field, and factories.
  • Guide a shared services mindset and strategy as we move to a Global Business Services model.
