Job Summary

ArcelorMittal Construction is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and operations for our Southern Europe cluster. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial plans to drive business growth, improve financial performance, and ensure compliance with group policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and improve financial performance
  • Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring accurate forecasting and variance analysis
  • Manage and coordinate the company's financial function, including accounting, credit management, VAT and tax, and internal and external audit
  • Partner with the Chief Financial Officer and local CEOs to drive business partnering and multi-year planning
  • Supervise entity controlling/finance teams, managing and developing their skills through training, performance management, and career planning
  • Implement and ensure the correct application of accounting and financial procedures of the ArcelorMittal group within the entities
  • Steer the risk management process, including internal control and external control across all relevant entities
Requirements
  • Fluent in English, advanced in Spanish and Italian (mandatory), French and Portuguese are a plus
  • Masters degree in Economics, Finance or Auditing
  • 10+ years of experience in multi-national finance role
  • Experience in M&A processes is a plus
  • Self-starter, innovative, results-oriented, strategic thinker
  • Advanced reporting and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels in the organization
  • Capability to work under pressure
  • Financial acumen
  • High level of organization
  • Previous experience in similar positions in the manufacturing sector will be considered a plus
  • Capable of self-navigating in a multinational environment and entrepreneurial organization
  • Able to build bridges between different departments and external parties is crucial
  • Able to work with virtual teams without direct reporting line is an absolute must
