Orca As is seeking an experienced and versatile Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. As a key member of our leadership team, the CFO will play a crucial role in shaping the company's financial strategy and planning, while also taking charge of scaling core operational functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of financial strategies that align with company growth objectives.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and financial risk management.
  • Lead fundraising initiatives and investor relations, providing financial insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop financial KPIs and performance metrics, providing executive-level reporting.
Operational Leadership:
  • Lead supplier contracts and negotiations, ensuring cost-effective and reliable sourcing.
  • Drive strategic decisions regarding product pricing, capital investment, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee logistics and supply chain management for both hardware and software development.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and key service providers.
  • Drive operational efficiencies, optimizing processes across finance, procurement, and logistics.
Corporate Governance:
  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on company strategy, providing financial and operational insights.
  • Ensure that the company adheres to sound corporate governance practices, including risk management, compliance, and reporting.
  • Build and lead the finance team as the company grows.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment across departments.
  • Mentor and develop team members, contributing to their professional growth.

This role is a hybrid/on-premise position at our Madrid office.
