The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Technical Presales Specialist with expertise in Penetration Testing and/or Risk Management & Governance (RMG) Presales experience.
If you are a Penetration Tester or RMG Consultant looking to transition into a Presales role, we would be interested in your profile.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in meetings (virtual or in-person) with prospective clients to assess technical and business needs, ensuring all necessary information is gathered prior to formulating a solution. Deliver documented solutions in a professional manner and within agreed timelines. Develop and confidently present presentations both internally and externally. Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Product Management teams to finalize deliverables as part of the formal internal approval process (QA); or influence modifications in the response based on evidence. Provide high-quality technical responses to RFP/RFI while working with the commercial and bid team to maximize success rates. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Serve as a subject matter expert on NCC Group's products and solutions. Work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Product Management teams to finalize deliverables as part of the formal internal approval process (QA); or influence modifications in the response based on evidence.Preferred Qualifications:
As you will be involved in generating business, we are looking for an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can represent our brand and enjoys engaging in pre-sales activities. Proven ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience across various levels of seniority, from technical teams to executive leadership. Strong technical security knowledge with a solid understanding of cybersecurity threats. Proven ability to manage client interactions and set expectations effectively. Strong experience in proposal and tender writing, along with commercial insight. Excellent client presentation skills, both in terms of supporting materials and delivery. Ability to devise solutions that address client challenges while also meeting profit and margin objectives. Capability to provide technical guidance to quality assurance processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience in integrating cybersecurity solutions. Strong technical security knowledge of network architectures, IT infrastructure, applications, and systems, including familiarity with cloud services such as Azure and AWS and emerging technologies. Good understanding of cybersecurity threats, threat actors, tradecraft, and mitigation strategies. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity penetration testing methodologies, outcomes, and impacts. Demonstrable knowledge of at least two of the following security frameworks: NIST, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or The Critical Security Controls for Effective Cyber Defence. Good understanding of compliance requirements and their relation to cybersecurity business practices. CISSP, CCSP, or similar qualifications, or demonstrable knowledge of network security would be advantageous. Experience in integrating cybersecurity solutions.Core Values:
