The Opportunity
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Consultant with expertise in Penetration Testing and/or Risk Management & Governance (RMG) Presales experience.
If you are a Pen Tester or RMG Consultant aiming to transition into a Presales role, we would be eager to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings (virtual or in-person) with prospective clients to ascertain technical and business needs, ensuring comprehensive information is gathered prior to formulating a solution.
- Deliver documented solutions in a professional manner and within established timelines.
- Develop and confidently present materials both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Product Management teams to finalize deliverables as part of the formal internal approval process (QA); or advocate for changes in the response based on evidence.
- Provide high-quality technical responses to RFP/RFI, working alongside the commercial and bid team to maximize success rates.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on NCC Group's products and solutions.
- Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Product Management teams to finalize deliverables as part of the formal internal approval process (QA); or advocate for changes in the response based on evidence.
Desired Qualifications:
- As you will be instrumental in generating business, we seek a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills who can represent our brand and enjoys engaging in pre-sales activities.
- Proven ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience across various levels of seniority, from technical teams to executive leadership.
- Solid technical security knowledge with a robust understanding of cybersecurity threats.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client interactions and set expectations effectively.
- Strong experience in proposal and tender writing, coupled with commercial insight.
- Exceptional client presentation skills, both in terms of supporting materials and delivery.
- Ability to devise solutions that address client challenges while maintaining profit and margin objectives.
- Capacity to provide technical guidance to quality assurance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in integrating cybersecurity solutions.
- Comprehensive technical security knowledge of network architectures, IT infrastructure, applications, and systems, including familiarity with cloud services such as Azure and AWS, as well as emerging technologies.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, threat actors, tradecraft, and mitigation strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of at least two of the following security frameworks: NIST, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or The Critical Security Controls for Effective Cyber Defence.
- Good grasp of compliance requirements and their relation to cybersecurity business practices.
- CISSP, CCSP, or similar certification, or demonstrable knowledge of network security would be advantageous.
- Experience in integrating cybersecurity solutions.
