Position Summary:

In this role, your main focus will be on market positioning for feed products within the region, pinpointing trading prospects in the marketplace, and boosting market engagement by attracting and retaining clients to optimize contributions in support of ADM's global assets and the Global Trade Profit and Loss statement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee market positioning of Feed products in the region, fostering and developing new client relationships
  • Manage and monitor Feed products Profit and Loss, oversee trading positions, operations, logistics, risk management, and currency influences
  • Investigate, assess, and devise potential new business strategies
  • Communicate market developments and coordinate trading activities with ADM teams at both local and global levels
  • Facilitate dialogue regarding market trends and collaboration with ADM teams locally and globally through analysis, assisting in the preparation of market reports
  • Ensure effective execution processes for contracts and shipments in partnership with the execution team and Legal, managing nominations, specifications, documentation, payments, and legal considerations
  • Conduct analyses, assist in the preparation of market reports, engage in Supply and Demand discussions, forecast trade movements, estimate demand coverage, and provide market data analysis support
Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in agricultural commodities trading, procurement, and logistics
  • Expertise in Cash Markets, Futures Markets, Currencies, and Freight
  • Adeptness in averting adverse situations that may disrupt business operations
  • Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating high energy, commitment, readiness for challenges, and a willingness to learn
  • A university degree in economics, business administration, engineering, agronomy, or related disciplines
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential
