Job Description

Eurecat Technology Center is seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our Robotics and Automation Unit in Barcelona, Spain. As a Robotics Researcher, you will work on autonomous navigation for ground mobile robots, with a focus on path planning and SLAM.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of new robotic concepts and ideas.
  • Participate in scientific research and technological advancements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software for robotics solutions.
  • Support robot integration, field trials, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate on scientific publications.
  • Assist in project management to ensure successful project execution.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
Requirements
  • PhD, MSc, or equivalent experience in Robotics, AI, Computer Vision, or related field.
  • Background in Autonomous Navigation, Path Planning, and/or SLAM.
  • Knowledge of ROS and good programming skills.
  • Experience with low-level control for ground robots.
  • Communication and interoperability skills.
  • Team spirit and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and creativity.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability to travel occasionally.
