**Job Summary**
As a Service Operations Coordinator at Vertiv, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of our field service operations. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively coordinate with our Customer Engineers and subcontractors to meet customer requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate daily schedules and assign jobs to Customer Engineers and subcontractors to meet customer requirements.
- Control and improve the efficiency and productivity of Customer Engineers and subcontractors in the assigned area.
- Collaborate with the Service Sales Team and Product Project Team to achieve sales objectives.
- Process customer service requests and new orders for time and material on the ERP system.
- Schedule service requests to maximize efficiency, productivity, and product knowledge of Customer Engineers.
- Manage battery recycling requests and invoicing, as well as swapping contract repairs and reporting.
- Coordinate with the repair center for low-power dispatching activities.
- Ensure all engineers and subcontractors debriefing information is properly collected for clear invoicing and inventory management.
- Monitor costs before closing service requests and invoice customers as soon as a job is completed.
- Closing of service requests and ensuring total discipline in the use of the ERP system.
- Manage customer service gateways and web requirements, as well as non-sale related and out-of-ERP requirements.
- Provide weekly updates on revenue projections and timely escalate possible capacity issues or material shortages.
- Ensure efficiency, productivity, and overtime targets are met, and Customer Engineer workload is fairly distributed.
- Transfer leads to the sales team and assure liaisons with the accounting department for invoicing procedures and with the service sales team for dispatch to customers.
- Follow and respect environmental guidelines established by Vertiv and those specific to client facilities.
- Work closely with the Department Manager to assist with day-to-day operational duties.
- Comply with waste producer requirements established by current legislation concerning waste handling, transfer, and storage.
**Requirements**
- Secondary technical school background.
- Fluent in local language, English, Spanish, or Portuguese as a third language preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience (1 year for recent graduates).
- Computer literate in all office-associated programs and ERP systems.
- Customer service-oriented with telephone skills and ability to organize time.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
