About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Associate Account Manager to join our team at Expedia Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and developing a high level of engagement with our Vacation Rental Hosts.

Your primary responsibility will be to work collaboratively with Hosts to improve their productivity and results within our marketplace. You will utilize and share unique data insights, marketing, distribution, and revenue management tools with Hosts to maximize their production potential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Consistently exceed performance metrics set by leadership
  2. Establish performance goals with partners, develop action plans, and secure commitment for adoption/usage
  3. Optimize content, rate, and availability to maximize booking conversion
  4. Manage a large volume of clients through multiple consultations daily
  5. Understand key demand/supply indicators, economic data, trends, and competitive information within the designated strategic market
  6. Pitch additional relevant products to existing customers or prospects
  7. May include travel for in-person consultations
Requirements
  1. You are a German native speaker or have a bilingual/proficient level of German, plus you are fluent in English
  2. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field or equivalent professional work experience
  3. 2 to 4 years of sales, client services, or account management experience
  4. Knowledge of the vacation rental industry is a plus
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office
  6. Knowledge of SalesForce or other CRM systems and Tableau or other BI platforms
  7. An affinity for action and self-initiative
  8. Strong client communication skills (both verbal and written)
  9. Superb organization and time management skills, self-discipline
  10. A results-focused and metrics-driven mindset
  11. Demonstrated ability to balance a variety of activities to drive a high-volume of partner interaction
  12. Ability to interpret performance, market, and competitor data analysis and implement impactful action plans based on the data
  13. A reputation for follow-up and persistence in challenging situations
  14. Authentic relationship skills that earn the confidence of others
