About Spotahome

Spotahome is a global online platform that provides verified rental accommodations across 100 cities in 27 countries, with a vision to transform the traditional real estate market by digitizing the rental process. Founded in 2014 by four friends, we aim to simplify renting by enabling users to book properties online from anywhere in the world, ensuring that the listings are authentic and accurate.

We are the only company sending Homecheckers to create videos, floor plans, and photos for nearly 100,000 properties throughout Europe. To date, we have assisted over 150,000 renters in finding their ideal homes, eliminating the need for traditional viewings and streamlining the rental experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage payment disputes effectively.
  • Conduct fraud prevention investigations and implement KYC processes.
  • Handle Trust and Safety cases related to the Spotahome Guarantee, including claims management.
  • Assist landlords and tenants with payment processes, including collection activities.

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies swiftly.
  • Strong judgment and ethical standards.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to identify patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
  • Capable of self-organizing in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish; proficiency in an additional language is advantageous.
  • Location: Based in Madrid.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in e-commerce, fraud detection, or risk management.
  • Familiarity with online payments and risk management in e-commerce is highly preferred.
