Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Prevention Specialist to join our Global Fraud Fighting Team. As a Fraud Prevention Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission by researching and decisioning on high-risk e-commerce transactions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Transaction Review: Independently review queued transactions to determine the likelihood of fraud, utilizing both new and existing tools.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with a team of industry experts to monitor real-time fraud decisioning software, and communicate fraud trends and best practices with peers and leaders.
- Problem-Solving: Independently resolve problems that require in-depth investigation and/or research, and prioritize work to meet and exceed deadlines.
- Client Expertise: Develop Client-specific expertise to support a model-first vision further, and utilize fraud platform features to build upon initial familiarity with Client risk profiles.
- Platform Maintenance: Report platform issues as they arise and proactively identify potential impacts on Clients.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Fine-tuned organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems at once.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions independently.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Availability: Availability to work rotating shifts, including non-business hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or similar university studies.
- Previous Experience: Previous e-commerce fraud prevention/investigation experience.
- Language Skills: Fluency in other EU languages.
This role will be located in our Accertify Madrid office, with the option to work in a hybrid environment after completing training. Training for this role will be fully in-office for the duration of three months.
