We are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Analyst to join our Global Fraud Fighting Team at Accertify. As a Fraud Analyst, you will play a critical role in facilitating our mission of delivering exceptional digital experiences by researching and decisioning on high-risk e-commerce transactions for our clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and Analyze Transactions: Work closely with a team of industry experts to monitor real-time fraud decisioning software and independently resolve problems that require in-depth investigation and/or research.
- Communicate Fraud Trends: Constantly communicate fraud trends and share best practices with peers and leaders to ensure a proactive approach to fraud prevention.
- Transaction Review: Perform manual review of queued transactions to determine the likelihood of fraud and develop client-specific expertise to support a model-first vision.
- Problem-Solving and Time Management: Maintain professional persistence when reviewing transactions or speaking with customers, thoroughly research transaction risk utilizing both new and existing tools, and prioritize work to meet and exceed deadlines.
- Platform Maintenance: Report platform issues as they arise and proactively identify potential impacts on clients, utilizing fraud platform features to build upon initial familiarity with client risk profiles and deal with incoming calls from customers and third-party agents.
- Strong Desire to Build a Career in Fraud: A strong desire to build a career in the fraud industry, with no previous experience in fraud required.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English.
- Availability: Availability to work rotating shifts, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, as well as non-business hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Organizational and Analytical Skills: Fine-tuned organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong internet research skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems at once, and demonstrated experience and/or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree or similar university studies.
- Language Skills: Fluency in other EU languages.
- Previous Experience: Previous e-commerce fraud prevention/investigation experience.
