Gelida, España Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. A tiempo completo

Location Flexibility:
Spain (Madrid or Barcelona)

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned HR generalist to become a vital member of our expanding HR Regional Partner team within the EMEA region.

If you aspire to be part of an innovative and customer-centric HR team dedicated to becoming the best employer globally while providing significant career advancement opportunities, we encourage you to explore further details.

Amazon HR Regional Partners (HRPs) in the EMEA area serve as advisors to over 4,000 managerial staff across 20 diverse nations.

Functioning independently and offering high-quality advisory services, HRPs facilitate an outstanding experience for both customers and employees as we aim to be the best employer worldwide.

Our HRPs actively engage with business and HR stakeholders, including:

  • HR Business Partners focused on executing the HR strategy for their respective business lines.
  • Centers of excellence, encompassing Employee Services (responsible for HR administration), Compensation & Benefits, and Talent Acquisition.

Our HRPs possess in-depth knowledge of local employment legislation, excel in consulting on Amazon policies, and foster trust by delivering sound guidance on people-related matters.

Amazon HRPs operate as 'generalists' across various corporate sectors, collaborating with leaders to provide prompt, effective, and high-quality consultation and advice.

This role is executed through an innovative customer relationship management tool, which positions this team uniquely to identify emerging issues and trends through data analysis, informing subsequent decisions and initiatives.

The HRP team's responsibilities also include standardizing best practices across the EMEA region, leveraging extensive insights from various business lines.

Here are some key areas the HRP team supports:

  • Advising People Managers, Business Leaders, and HR Business Partners on change management initiatives.
  • Overseeing performance enhancement processes, both informal and formal.
  • Addressing complex and sensitive employee matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Facilitating development workshops aimed at enhancing managerial effectiveness and capabilities.
  • Guiding Leaders through Talent Management and Annual Compensation processes.
  • Identifying training opportunities to enhance functional and leadership skills.
  • Assisting Leaders with career discussions and development plans.

In addition to core casework, the HRP team is responsible for policy and compliance at the country level, which requires staying updated on legislative changes or Amazon-driven updates and utilizing strong writing skills to revise policy documents.

Moreover, a significant aspect of our HRP team's career development involves participating in or leading subject matter expert groups focused on refining key HR processes (such as Talent or Performance management) across the EMEA region or undertaking individual project assignments at the country or regional level.
