About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at LanguageWire. As a Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continued development of information security and GDPR compliance within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the Information Security and Data Protection agenda, working closely with our Group Quality Manager and Platform Security Engineer.
  • Drive the progress and maintenance of our Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring compliance with ISO27001, ISO9001, and TISAX standards.
  • Act as our subject matter expert on Information Security and GDPR, providing guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate compliance assessments and audits, interpreting and analyzing reports for different business units.
  • Develop and structure compliance procedures and documentation within the ISMS framework.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Excellence team, Technical Enablement team, and IT infrastructure team to ensure seamless integration of compliance initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Relevant education (minimum bachelor's level) in law, business, or a related field, with a broad knowledge of the security area.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in IT and security-related subjects or a similar position.
  • Proven experience in ISO27001, the General Data Protection Regulation, or equivalent data protection standards.
  • Experience with answering customer requests related to IT security and GDPR.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients at various levels of subject matter expertise and seniority.
  • Understanding of EU- and country-specific laws concerning data acquisition, protection, and transmission.
  • Keen to stay updated with the latest developments in GDPR and data protection regulations.
  • Written and spoken English at near-native/C2 level is a must.
