About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Account Manager to join our team at the STX Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for expanding our customer portfolio in Spain by engaging with prospective customers from various industries and sectors to understand their climate needs and develop tailored decarbonization solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive market share growth through strategic initiatives in Spain by proactively engaging in targeted outreach, including cold-calling and market canvassing.
- Foster and cultivate enduring client relationships over time by building connections through in-person meetings, dinners, and activities, fostering both professional and personal relationships.
- Execute transactions in various regions on a multitude of products, applying financial instruments and knowledge to structure complex deals with corporate clients.
- Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders, collaborating closely with technical product experts and policy teams for effective coordination.
- Stay up to date with dynamic regulatory shifts and legislative fundamentals in your designated region.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in sales, trading, finance, banking, business development, or account management, including exposure to renewable energy or environmental commodities markets.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Profound understanding of commercial transactions and deals, with out-of-the-box thinking and an entrepreneurial mentality.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in an intense team environment, while building direct working relationships.
- Fluency in English and native Spanish in writing and speech.
- Flexible to travel often and open to relocate to Madrid, Spain.
