Overview

The role involves assisting Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams in the development of procedures, methodologies, and specifications where engineering expertise is necessary. This position includes overseeing ongoing projects and fostering cultural transformations while driving essential tasks such as project protocols, continuous improvement initiatives, waste management, inventory control, and error-proofing techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in the definition and design of new products as part of the project team.
  • Stay informed about advancements in technology related to pressing, hard turning, and soft machining.
  • Play a crucial role in the industrialization of new product developments.
  • Modify existing production processes to accommodate new product lines.
  • Meet the objectives for quality, cost, and delivery in the industrialization of new products.
  • Effectively communicate potential industrial risks to both the production and segment teams.
  • Align and adjust segment requirements for new products with the current production landscape.
  • Actively participate in the Plant Engineering Team, focusing on process enhancements, investment strategies, and continuous improvement activities.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Mechanics or Materials.
  • Methodical, analytical, and disciplined approach to work.
Technical Skills and Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the industrialization and implementation of new products and processes.
  • Proficient in pressing, turning, and grinding processes with proven experience.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
  • General knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing principles (Value Stream Mapping, problem-solving, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
