Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver strategic and technological insights to the sales division, aiding in the formulation of sales engagement strategies to meet annual revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO office on innovative projects, developing proof of concepts and customer demonstrations to enhance technical sales initiatives for cutting-edge technologies and new network advancements.
- Assist Sales Channels and various stakeholders in identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities.
- Contribute to regional marketing strategies and work alongside Portfolio Marketing to relay regional needs and market intelligence.
- Provide expert consultancy on strategic solutions for key clients to maximize return on investment, coordinating with peers to foster cross-regional collaboration.
- Represent the company in industry discussions and standardization efforts (IETF, GSMA, ORAN, etc.).
- Participate in trade shows and conferences, networking at the CTO level to maintain and elevate the company's industry presence.
- Establish and nurture positive, ongoing relationships with clients and partners to effectively showcase and promote the company's offerings.
- Stay informed about product applications, technical services, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends to ensure the team is focused on the right priorities, while proactively sharing knowledge and training Field SE teams.
- Willingness to travel at least 40% of the time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience and comprehensive understanding of the telecommunications sector, particularly in mobile VoIP, IP networking, and SDN domains.
- Experience in pre-sales activities involving networking equipment or network solutions.
- Proven capability to present information effectively at both technical and executive levels, articulating benefits and value propositions that align technical solutions with business needs.
- Extensive expertise across various technical domains, including IP Systems, Optical Systems, SBCs, SD-WAN, Network Edge Orchestration, policy and routing, media gateways, applications platforms, and cloud communication solutions.
- Experience in designing carrier-grade communication networks from a high-level architectural perspective.
- Familiarity with DWDM and ROADM networks.
- Professional experience with leading vendors such as Cisco, Nokia, Infinera, Ciena, ZTE, Huawei, or as a System Integrator collaborating with these vendors.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build robust relationships with clients at all levels, including CxO executives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly on complex technical and sales topics for diverse audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Established network of contacts within regional service providers.
- Experience in technical sales leadership or mentoring roles.
- Relevant certifications such as CCDP, CCNP, or CCIE.
- Familiarity with SDN and/or SD-WAN technologies.
- Experience in designing IP/MPLS Packet Networks (Layer 3).
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written; additional languages are advantageous.
The selected candidate must be eligible to work in Spain.
