Job Title: Principal Enterprise Architect

The Principal Enterprise Architect plays a critical role in aligning IT solutions and services with Hitachi Energy's business and IT strategy. This position is responsible for developing, driving, documenting, and communicating the global IT Enterprise Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and develop the IT architecture and strategy for a defined architecture scope.
  • Collaborate with business, enterprise architects, and IT stakeholders to develop the lifecycle roadmap for key IT technology solutions.
  • Manage and monitor architecture governance.
  • Build and coordinate activities of the Hitachi Energy Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT relevant domains.
  • Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into IT capabilities and solutions.
  • Experience in global project planning and execution, as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle.
  • Experience in leading IT people who do not report directly.
  • Experience in objectively evaluating solutions and making recommendations.
Preferred Knowledge and Experience:
  • Enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Knowledge of ITIL and L6S.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with business and IT stakeholders, including senior management.
