**Atradius**

The Atradius Group provides trade credit insurance, surety and collections services worldwide, and has a presence through 160 offices in 52 countries. The products offered by Atradius protect companies around the world against the default risks associated with selling goods and services on credit.

Enterprise Architecture is divided in several domains within Atradius. “Data Platform” and “Finance & Compliance” are two of them. The “Data Platform” is a technical sub-domain of the Data domain, while “Finance & Compliance” is a business domain on its own. Atradius is looking for an **Enterprise Architect **who preferably has the skills and experience to cover both architecture domains. You will report directly to the Chief Enterprise Architect.Your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain the respective architecture vision, roadmap and high-level architecture for the two domains, in alignment with the corresponding Asset Owners (from ITS) and Product Owners (from the Business).

You will work closely with many other key stakeholders who are Data Architects, senior managers from various Atradius Business domains like Credit Insurance, but also program and project managers and Business members

You will be supporting and connecting with several teams:

- The Enterprise Architecture team,
- The Data Architecture team being a mix of Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects covering their corresponding domain,
- The Data Platform team,
- The Finance & Compliance teams, from IT and from the Business
- The Infrastructure (CTO) team,
- The Cloud Competence Centre (CCC) mandated to implement Atradius Cloud Strategy

In the Enterprise Architecture team you will maintain and improve the Reference Architecture of the domains you own. You will validate that the Data Architecture choices and solutions are appropriate and used in line with the Reference Architecture, or alternatively that the Reference Architecture gets updated in line with the latest need for change.

With the Data Platform, your focus will be to align with its development and operating teams, being both solution focussed. You will validate and steer towards that their current long term and strategic perspectives are aligned with the Atradius Data Strategy.

For the “Finance & Compliance” domain, you will align with Business and IT stakeholders, helping them to articulate and to document clearly their plans for change and transformation, sometimes already known but not always expressed and shared.In addition, you will be working with the Infrastructure and Cloud Competency Centre teams (CCC) making sure the Data Platform will be migrated to the CCC landing zone (at some point), following Atradius Cloud Principles. You will make sure that projects and domains build and maintain their data solutions in the right way.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Make sure the “As Is” architecture and “To Be” are well defined and described, including references to Standards, Design Patterns, Blueprints and current documentation. The “To Be” Architecture must be unambiguous and easily identifiable based on your experience and the various Atradius Strategies.
- Take over and own not only the Data Platform Strategy, but also identify impacts and dependencies with other initiatives, programs and strategies.
- Guide engineers and external partners on following the data architecture in their designs by reviewing and steering the solution architecture of the Data Platform.
- Work on a strategy to expend the usage of the Data Platform within the “Finance & Compliance” domain, but also within the business and other architecture domains, making it the heart of Atradius’ analytic capabilities and processes.
- Own and review in case of changes the corresponding High Level Architecture within your domains.
- Work with Infrastructure engineers, get their trust and support to accept and implement the architectures.
- Work with the CCC to make sure their policies and standards and the data architecture are aligned and implemented correctly.

**Eligibility Requirements**
- Higher / University level IT education.
- Enterprise Architecture Experience, especially using Archimate language and EA Sparx.
- Experience of working on data, finance and compliance architecture domains for large, multi-site and multi-business organizations.
- Demonstrable knowledge of (big) data architectures, data design techniques, and data engineering for various types of data and Azure solutions. Provide clear guidance about when and how to select and implement them.
- Primary understanding of relational databases Data Warehousing, Data Science and Data Mining is a requirement
- Practical experience with Data Modelling practices like 3NF, Star-Schema, DataVault and DataMesh.
- Knowledge about machine learning, pattern identification, text mining, and clustering is desirable.
