**About the Role**
Reporting to the Managing Director of the International Business Unit, the Sales Director will take a leadership role in driving revenue and sales growth by developing, coaching, and guiding a team to attain goals. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of Key Account Sales Representatives focused on selling a value-based digital advertising solution for marine industry clients. You will also manage the Inside Sales Manager responsible for our smaller customer base.

You will work closely with various Boats Group teams to ensure sales channel coordination, cooperation, and success. With your self-motivation and goal-orientation, you will manage a high performance team of sales specialists in key business channels and meet aggressive goals This position requires a strong background in inside sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales goals and implementing/steering by strong processes.

**What You’ll Do**
- Team and results management
- You will manage and support your team to deliver on our sales results for the BU.
- Key Accounts: You will manage a team of key account sales representatives across our main markets in Europe and beyond.
- Inside Sales: You will manage the Inside Sales manager in charge of a team who service our small and medium customer base over the phone and who scout for new customer opportunities.
- Team responsibility: You will set up a strong organisational setup of in-house competencies and improve our way-of-working with other.
- Hands-on operational improvement
- Curiosity: You dive into the details and personally get involved with representative customers to improve our services and ensure sustainable success.
- Process improvement: You will work across departments towards more efficiency and effectiveness in our sales efforts.
- Expert in our systems: You will become an expert on the Boats Group product suite, values, internal tools and organisational structure to succeed in the market.

**Go-to-market strategy**
- Data-driven: You will steer the team by analysing the data for our customers and markets. You will optimise the go-to-market approach for our customers.
- Special Projects: As needed, you will take a leadership position on cross-functional projects.

**What You Should Have**:

- 10+ years of managerial experience within a high-performance sales environment in digital media
- Must be well organised with strong team building capabilities
- Proven track record of success in large account sales in a managerial role.
- Ability to quickly assess business needs and work internally to drive proper solutions
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data in the sales process to drive optimal outcomes
- Languages: English fluent, other European languages are a plus (Spanish, French, Dutch, Italian)
- And a big plus: A passion for boats and/or life on the water.
