The M&S department has a vacancy in its team for the following position:
Commercial Manager New Business Development
As Commercial Manager New Business Development (M/F/d) you will be responsible to manage the Portfolio Development projects, from ideation till approval for execution. You will generate new portfolio development opportunities, screen and prioritize them, and establish the business plans for implementation. You will also be in charge of evaluating and recommending portfolio optimization measures.

The main activities and responsibilities
- Feed the portfolio of new “close to core” products by generating new pipeline opportunities
- Screen, analyze and select top potential opportunities based on standardized criteria and alignment with key internal and external stakeholders
- Perform detailed market assessments, validated with external feedback to confirm the potential of each opportunity
- Manage cross-functional teams to gather inputs and build the business plans related to each selected opportunity, covering e.g. the business model, make/buy assessments, value proposition, preliminary market feedback, high-level route to market, marketing and operational plans, business case, etc.
- Maintain the relevant tools to ensure that a continuous is assessed against the defined strategy and criteria
- Lead project handover to the relevant Commercial Franchise
- Evaluate and recommend portfolio optimization measures

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a commercial function in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably on portfolio development and with knowledge of both the API and FDF fields
- Clear understanding of market dynamics for generic medicines worldwide
- Analytical and structured approach to growth
- Ability to turn data knowledge into strategic plans
- Proactivity and entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong project management skills. Ability to steer cross-functional teams effectively
- Ability to create collaboration and partnership
- Knowledge of regulatory pharmaceuticals/generics environment globally
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Results-orientation and ability to work under pressure
- Fluent proficiency in English language (written and spoken)
- Cultural sensitivity to lead and drive across regions
