At our core, we make EV charging simple, accessible, and reliable. Our software enables a consistent charging experience across all charge point brands and we empower charge point owners with a full-fledged solution to attract users and seamlessly manage usage, pricing, availability, and transactions.

By empowering Charge Point Operators and offering consistent charging experiences for Electrical Vehicle owners, Monta is laying the ground for a scalable and sustainable EV infrastructure.

**The role and tasks**

In the position of Customer Support Team Lead, you will be a key element and one of the foundational pillars in shaping the culture, foundation and future of our new Customer Support office in sunny Barcelona, Spain.
You will be working closely with our Head of Customer Support on hiring and structuring the entire team structure that will be based in Barcelona.

**Your primary tasks will consist of**:

- Interviewing and hiring new employees & helping build the team structure for our first-line team.
- Schedule shifts to ensure 24-7-365 coverage and participate/lead projects around meeting this level of coverage
- Identify opportunities to enhance internal processes which promote best practices and lead to overall performance improvement and organisational efficiency.
- Monitor performance and lead the team to achieve KPIs and provide not good, but excellent support to our lovely customers.
- Build structures around ensuring that the team are able to handle their support cases properly and with necessary exposure to tools & knowledge.
- Leading and driving projects in the department to ensure the success of our team.

**Requirements**:

- You are fluent in English and preferably at least one other language.
- You are located in or around Barcelona and can work from our office in Barcelona.
- You have an “above and beyond”-mentality and are always willing to go the extra mile to help our customers.
- You are project-driven and can think outside of the box.
- You are not afraid of reaching out to colleagues to find the right answers.
- You have experience working in customer-facing environments and in leadership roles.
- You have attention to detail and are not afraid of taking ownership.
- You are tech-savvy.
- Have experience in a similar position and in providing world-class customer service.
- Thrive working in a high-paced and super dynamic work environment.
- Have a good understanding of business acumen and can not afraid to make important calls - sometimes on the spot.
- Are motivated by the fact that we place the train tracks while we ride them and that you'll be 1st-gen Monteer building our team for the future.
