From the LifeSciences & HealthCare division of Spring Professional we are searching a Cosmetics Development Manager to join a Cosmetics&Make-up company present in the market since 2.017 in the phase of expansion and development.

The Scientist Project Leader will join a thriving cosmetics company to formulate new products and manage the currently implemented product portfolio. The scientist will be responsible for developing the formula and making the technological transfer to the manufacturing laboratories.

The role
- Develop formulas that deliver technical and consumer performance metrics on time while providing regular updates to manager.
- Work across R&D disciplines (process, analytical, packaging, regulatory, safety, etc..) to enable projects and assist teams in root cause issues.
- Interact with raw material vendors and other industry representatives to enable formula development that meets consumer and business needs.
- Technical standard development and specifications on time.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, safety, and GMP.
- Responsible for end-to-end development including technical briefs, communication across functional teams, experimental design and establishing validation plans.
- Define formula based critical technical parameters to deliver the consumer performance with an in depth understanding of the chemistry and ingredient functions.
- Has the ability to make technically sound decisions based on data and consumer insights.
- Able to analyze data to draw conclusions and risk assessments.

**Requisitos**:

- B.S. in Chemistry or related science field, M.S. degree desired.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in R&D beauty and/or personal care. Experience with make-up products is a plus.
- Experience in formula design and development in an R&D environment, process scaleup experience is a plus.
- Technical knowledge in chemistry and raw materials, particularly natural ingredients.
- Perform good experimental execution, data collection, and documentation
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Innovative and creative thinker who can work independently.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an innate curiosity
- Passion for beauty with a general understanding of cosmetics and make-up products.
- Ability to collaborate and evolve in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to travel.
- Fluent English and Spanish. Italian is a plus.
