- Inside Sales Account Manager - Madrid (Spain)-

- You will have a strong technical background in molecular biology or genomics- and may have proven successful sales experience with a technical product line, or other sales experience would be considered. You will have the ability to take qualified leads and turn them into closed deals as well as develop and grow accounts through networking at all levels. You will have excellent listening, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills and be a detail
- and service-oriented individual.**Responsibilities**:- Meets sales targets and is responsible for accurate forecasting and maintaining up to date contact and opportunity information in CRM database- Engages with existing customers and qualified sales leads, guiding customers to the Illumina products that best meet their needs, coordinating with internal resources to address customer questions or objections, providing budgetary pricing, creating and submitting individualized quotes and closing the sales process through the point of order receipt- Working either individually or together with the Lead Generation Specialist team on prospecting activities to find new accounts and develop new opportunities- Works collaboratively with the wider sales team including TAMs, ISAMs, Sales Specialists and Service Contracts team- Establishes and maintains strong, positive, productive relationships with customer accounts including product end-users, management and purchasing contacts- Tracks and reports on all activities to managers

**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Technical disciplines or equivalent required.- Fluency in English and Spanish language essential- Knowledge of Genetic analysis techniques ( PCR / NGS / Sanger etc)- Able to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others- Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills - articulate and quick thinking- Team goal oriented with a focus on achieving team sales performance metrics.- Detail oriented and ability to focus in a fast paced environment- Proven successful sales experience with a technical product line a plus but other sales experience would be considered
