**Job Responsibility**:
**Key accountabilities**:
- Business Development execution: Support customer bids with specific focus on the opportunity shaping and business development for opportunities by the Phoenix Local Markets team
- Lead campaigns to pursue funding opportunities for Group product and solutions.
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.
- Maintain and share professional knowledge and understanding of Group product and solutions through education, networking, events, and presentations.
- Demonstrate the #spirit behaviours in all aspects of the role with a keen focus on CreateTheFuture.
**What you bring**:
- **
Commercial Acumen in the B2B Environment**: Strong commercial acumen within the B2B environment and Phoenix / Public Sector procurement practices to enable effective targeting on Group product and solutions
- ** Sales Cycle & budgeting knowledge**:Good understanding of Vodafone sales planning processes and of relevant budgeting processes
- ** Experience of working within complex, matrix environment**: Experience of working with local markets and/or group functions to collectively deliver successful outcomes.
- ** Experience of managing complex, sales and business engagements cycles**: Experience of working with long-term deal structuring and shaping business opportunities
