About the Role:
We are looking for an Accessibility Lead for our B2B Products to focus on building our accessibility practice, ensuring that accessibility is integrated into the UX process from concept to delivery. You will help support Dow Jones' B2B Products by a design system so a fluency in development and design, experience with code and UX, and a solid understanding of usability concerns is required. This role will report to the Head of Design Operations.

You are committed to accessible and inclusive design, and have experience in educating teams about accessibility, setting requirements and recommendations for projects and be comfortable working within a cross-functional team. You will also support our Dow Jones Accessibility Working Group, coordinating accessibility work and efforts across the B2B group and our Experience group.

As part of the Customer Experience team you will integrate accessibility holistically within our digital projects for our range of B2B products including Factiva, Risk & Compliance and Newswires. You will define best practices and guidelines, partner with product development and research teams to understand the needs of our users with disabilities and collaborate with designers and developers to create scalable and accessible solutions.

You Will:

- Advocate, integrate, and coordinate accessibility standards across digital teams and third-party vendors
- Review UX deliverables, conduct comprehensive QA to ensure accessibility compliance, and guide design system UX patterns.
- Collaborate with product teams, conduct user research, and oversee accessibility initiatives to ensure alignment with user needs.

You Have:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with over 6 years of experience in defining requirements and conducting tests.
- Proficient in WCAG, ARIA guidelines, and adept at training teams in accessible design principles.
- Demonstrated experience in writing accessibility requirements, conducting audits, and creating VPATs for internal products and vendors.
- Hands-on experience testing with screen readers (TalkBack, VoiceOver, JAWS).
- Strong track record of contributions to creating accessible products.
- IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) (desirable)
- Previous experience working with existing design systems (desirable)
