About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Accessibility Specialist to join our team at Amaris Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our digital products and services are accessible to all users, regardless of their abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Accessibility Audits: Conduct thorough accessibility audits of our web applications and digital products to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Develop Accessibility Solutions: Work closely with our development teams to implement accessibility solutions and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of accessibility.
  3. Provide Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to our team members on accessibility best practices and ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to create accessible digital products.
  4. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and standards related to web accessibility and ensure that our products remain compliant.
Requirements
  1. 7+ Years of Experience: You should have at least 7 years of experience in web development with a focus on web accessibility.
  2. WCAG 2.1 A/AA Guidelines: You should have in-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 A/AA guidelines and practical experience in ensuring compliance.
  3. Accessibility Auditing Tools: You should have experience working with accessibility auditing tools like Axe, Wave, Monsido, DEQUE, VoiceOver Mac, and Google Lighthouse.
  4. Strong Communication Skills: You should have solid communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and provide leadership in accessibility best practices.
