We are seeking a highly skilled Web Accessibility Specialist to join our team at Amaris Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our digital products and services are accessible to all users, regardless of their abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Accessibility Audits: Conduct thorough accessibility audits of our web applications and digital products to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop Accessibility Solutions: Work closely with our development teams to implement accessibility solutions and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of accessibility.
- Provide Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to our team members on accessibility best practices and ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to create accessible digital products.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and standards related to web accessibility and ensure that our products remain compliant.
- 7+ Years of Experience: You should have at least 7 years of experience in web development with a focus on web accessibility.
- WCAG 2.1 A/AA Guidelines: You should have in-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 A/AA guidelines and practical experience in ensuring compliance.
- Accessibility Auditing Tools: You should have experience working with accessibility auditing tools like Axe, Wave, Monsido, DEQUE, VoiceOver Mac, and Google Lighthouse.
- Strong Communication Skills: You should have solid communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and provide leadership in accessibility best practices.
