**Your key tasks**:

- Establish a strategy to approach both existing and new customers within the assigned territory, in order to prospect new business opportunities;
- Ensure a positive customer experience by following up on orders and ensuring timely delivery through our supply chain.
- Partner with marketing, product managers, engineers, and supply chain to provide feedback on market, or customer, needs and dynamics and plan activities to improve our standing among them;
- Stay up to date on rapidly emerging Industry 4.0 and other technologies, in order to act as a partner/adviser to the customer in adopting these new technologies to help change their business models.

**The Main Qualifications you need**:

- Studies in Control Systems/Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics/IT or Computer Programming. (BEng/BSc/BTech/BCom);
- Proven experience in a commercial/sales role, or a small business leadership role.
- Solid understanding of discrete and hybrid automation concepts including: Operator Interfaces, HMI/SCADA software, Programmable Logic Controllers, Variable Speed Drives, Servo Motion, Emergency Shutdown for Fire & Gas, Industrial Computers and cloud/EDGE technologies.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Good English skills as a 2nd language;
- Safety Control Systems certifications, or qualifications;
- Experience working in automation or in adjacent industries (information and operations technology, manufacturing software, mechatronics, instrumentation, robotics etc.) is particularly helpful.
- Sales Methodology training (eg. Miller Heiman)
