**JOB OVERVIEW**:
TE Connectivity's Channel business unit is hiring a Senior Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in the EMEA Region. This role leads and develops a team of Distribution Market Managers (DMM) in Italy, France, Iberia, and the UK.

RSMs are responsible for driving territory sales growth by supporting and managing their team members to develop relationships with key strategic partners, working with small and medium customers in the region, and driving sales and project pipeline and conversion with distributor branches.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Support team to drive regional POS growth and grow TE Connectivity market share.
- Support DMM to execute distribution business plans at branch level.
- Align regional priorities and local business plans with the BU Channel Sales Managers and GMs
- Translate business goals and strategies into tactical actions for the team.
- Coach DMM into future sales leaders with a constant eye for identifying and recruiting new talent.
- Develop, maintain and improve business relations with all strategic partners.
- Ensure the distributor branches are properly trained and supported
- Collect and report information on all competitive activity, business opportunities, sales trends and results within the assigned region providing input during monthly and quarterly business review.
- Manage all market business reviews, driving accountability across the regional team.
- Engage with local TE BU teams to ensure TE plans/programs are consistently executed.
- Drive Design Registration projects and overall branch opportunity funnel with the DMMs

**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in sales management and 3-5 years of people management experience
- (preferred) Knowledge of the electronics industry and distribution network at a corporate and branch level
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong results-orientation and execution mindset
- Drive for Results: The ability to find creative solutions and generate results in a dynamic market environment. This person will have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to infuse that in others.
- Proven track record of building trustworthy relationships
- Able to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational and people management skills
- Experience managing large high-performance sales organizations.
- Ability to successfully lead, develop, coach and mentor diverse teams in a complex matrix environment.
- Proven track record of success developing and executing sales strategy.
- Able to present sales/business strategy to all levels of management clearly and concisely.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams to facilitate sales growth
- Clear, strategic thinker with the ability to execute on priorities.
