The adoption of this service is rapidly growing given it allows correcting the GPS signal and offers enhanced features with accurate positioning and integrity within safety-of-life services context such as public transportation.
If you have a good level of English and proficiency in GNSS/EGNOS Services and have at least 5 years of experience in aviation sector, then this position is for you
By joining us, you will supports the service development activities in the delivery of the EGNOS Service Provision Contract in Aviation and in other domains.
**Main responsibilities/activities**:
- Participate to key supporting cells/standardisation bodies (workshops, taskforces, etc.) within the relevant civil aviation organizations;
- Lead Service Development contribution to EGNOS Multimodal Adoption Plan in the aviation domain;
- Interfaces with key aviation sector stakeholders such as Eurocontrol, ICAO or EASA;
- Support to definition, development and evolution of services in the CNS/ATM and U-Space domains;
- Support to the provision of advisory SBAS services in the CNS/ATM and U-Space;
- Supports the Development of new products/services in the Consultancy area;
- Support the Service Development Manager in GNSS and/or multimodal projects, in terms of:
- Proposal preparation,
- Project management and coordination,
- Project technical contribution.
**Profile**:
- Good knowledge of:
- the aviation sector: E.g. ICAO dispositions, SES regulation and CNS initiatives
- main European Initiatives in CNS/ATN and U-Space,
- EGNOS services and GNSS (would be appreciated)
- Air Navigation and aids to navigation Systems,
- Performance Based Navigation
- Ability to work in team and good capacity of analysis and synthesis
- Availability, anticipation and adaptability
- Project management
- Ability to take initiative
- Good skills of analysis and synthesis
- Corporate representation skills
- Ability of solving problems
**Job Requirements**:
Language: English (B2) - CEFR and Spanish (desirable)
Engineering degree or equivalent
Available for national and international travels
Experience in projects in an international context (European)
