Job Title: Field Service Engineer - PMLS Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and well-versed PMLS expert to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. As a key member of our ultra-ambitious team, you will be responsible for providing onsite training and servicing of Patient Monitoring capital equipment, as well as providing technical support to distributors and end-users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remote support to distributors engineers and end-users
  • Internal technical support to service sales and operation department
  • Field service delivery to end-users across Spain and Portugal
  • Take responsibility for the effective management of your designated service area, including promoting new contracts and liaising with customers for renewals
  • Project management role for installations within assigned service territory and coordinating the installation of large orders if required
  • Completing all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits on time and to the levels outlined in the service manual
  • Assist sales and marketing team with tender opportunities as technical support and to promote service contracts
  • Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and liaising with the Service Supervisor/Manager to ensure they are calibrated
  • Maintenance of spare parts inventory, company vehicle and other company equipment and supplies
  • Occasional training of clinical staff on designated equipment
  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining both parts and loaner inventories allocated to them
Requirements:
  • Anaesthesia Field service experience is critical
  • Extensive knowledge of Defibrillators, Patient Monitors, and other medical device capital equipment is vital
  • Experience of working in Spain requiring no company sponsorship to join our business
  • Experience of providing training on medical devices capital equipment
  • Highly customer focused along with your hunger to achieve more, this role has significant development potential for the right candidate
  • Technically proficient in the troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of all medical products
  • Evidence of emotional intelligence is critical
  • An ability to address customer requests through strong listening skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships
  • Proven negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
