Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring the optimal performance of our instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine root causes of instrument failures and implement successful solutions
  • Collaborate with teams from different departments to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance and calibration of instruments
  • Provide world-class customer service, building strong relationships with clients
  • Propose our products and services to customers, and provide guidance on new equipment and services
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
  • Technical bachelor's degree, advanced technical degree or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service or a similar role
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lead priorities
  • Driver license and availability to travel
  • Spanish and English proficient
