Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and support to our laboratory customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install, maintain, and repair Phadia instrumentation product portfolio at customer sites.
  2. Provide training to end-users on our range of instrumentation and offer remote and on-site support to customers and colleagues.
  3. Diagnose system failures using knowledge, remote support tools, and log file analysis to determine the most effective resolution.
  4. Liaise with LIMS providers and customer IT personnel to establish connections to Phadia laboratory systems.
  5. Maintain customer relationships and collaborate with sales account managers to ensure customer needs are met.
Requirements:
  1. Engineering degree, Science subjects, or related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in servicing/repair of analytical equipment, ideally laboratory/hospital equipment or medical devices.
  3. Good knowledge of the hospital landscape in the assigned region.
  4. Ability and willingness to travel, mainly in the Galicia & North Portugal Region.
  5. Knowledge of IT tools (Office, Outlook, etc.) and network connection.
  6. Valid driving license.
