Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team in Valencia, Spain. As a key member of our EMEA Bulk Elemental Unit, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific in a professional and positive manner, building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Provide expert technical support and service to customers, including installations, repairs, data analysis, and calibrations.
  • Travel frequently throughout Spain and Portugal, and occasionally to other countries in EMEA, to provide on-site support and training.
  • Collaborate with commercial colleagues to deliver customer deals that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of our Practical Process Improvement Business System.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical services, with a strong background in electromechanical and software issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work efficiently in stressful situations.
  • Good knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and software applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, with valid driver's license.
