Sales & Business Development Representative - Spain

This is a B2B/freelance contract role for someone based in Spain, fluent in English and Spanish._

**Responsibilities**
- Identify new opportunities and retain and grow revenue from existing clientele
- Collaborate closely with diverse internal stakeholders on planning & executing sales strategy
- Assess competition and market potential
- Understand MOTABAQAH’s services & solutions for our clients and deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to them

**Skills and Experience**
- At least 5 years’ experience in a B2B Sales and business development role, preferably but not restricted in the field of conformity assessment, specifically in product certification, CE Marking, Certifications or a similar business
- Excellent understanding of European market and its dynamics related to product certification
- Proven track record in strategic sales development and market’s penetration
- Knowledge about SASO Technical regulations, Jeem1, Saber, Saleem etc. will be an added benefit
- Experience in product exports and /or international logistics is desirable
- Industry knowledge preferably but not limited to the following areas is desirable:

- Textiles
- Metal and Alloy sectors for Constructions and Buildings
- Bricks, Tiles, Ceramics, Sanitary Ware and relevant products
- Electric Batteries
- Footwear and their accessories
- Gas Appliances
- Food & Drug sectors including cosmetics
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills
- Ability to perform under pressure

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- MBA, Master or Bachelor degree in Business administration or equivalent
- Good knowledge of MS office
- Excellent command of Spanish & English is required
- Travelling will be required and you should be based in Spain

**Offered**

Initially the focus will be on the Spanish market, with opportunities to expand to surrounding countries and then further into Europe. This opportunity is offered based on a freelance or B2B contract, initially for 6 months. A fixed monthly fee will be offered, combined with a 2% commission on sales and holidays according to Spanish labor law.
