Sales Leader - Spain
We are searching for a self-motivated Sales leader to help with organization expansion. This individual will lead all operations to ensure the expansion of Mimecast in Spain. Responsibilities include all aspect of starting a business in the cyber security, aligning with our distributor sales force, recruiting partners, generating marketing activities, identify targets, build a GTM plan and execute by doing the sales job himself. Our Spanish Sales leader will work with a set of enterprises including our largest prospects and, the Named Accounts of Spain as well as SMB, to help them become loyal customers. It’s your job to deliver the professionalism, consultation, and innovation they expect.
Beyond this, you’ll be incredibly creative in capitalizing on opportunities and channel initiatives to drive revenue, adoption of new technologies, and market penetration. Ultimately, you will also have a proven track record in generating and winning new business in IT sales, preferably Cyber Security. As a partner centric organization, Mimecast’s Account Executives will be known by and connected with our loyal partner community. You’ll collaborate with other areas across the business to build a pipeline of new business opportunities, which they can successfully convert into new customers. Experience in delivering innovative partner business plans and seeing them through to success will put you in an excellent position to get this role.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identifying sales opportunities and the strategy on accounts and via partners
- Identifying and implementing strategies to sell solutions into new accounts
- Achieving monthly / quarterly / annual new business and upsell targets
- Working with the Disti / Partner / Channel Development team to develop and execute against account and channel plans
- Developing and executing against sales activity plans in order to achieve the agreed targets
- Building and maintaining relationships with new business prospects
- Managing Business Administration by generating the reporting of the Key Performance Indicator’s* and general SFDC housekeeping
- Signing up to and executing against a set of end to end sales methodology and process
- Monitoring and reporting on activities while providing relevant management information
- Liaising and attending meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties, aid business, and develop organizationally
- Attending trainings and developing relevant knowledge and skills
- Weekly end user and channel activities
- Number of net new qualified opportunities added to the pipeline
- Pipeline stats - pipeline movements
- Forecasting accuracy
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience and contacts within the Spanish Cyber communities of customers and partners
- Strong IT or SaaS sales experience
- Successful experience with new logo acquisition and customer management - meeting and exceeding quotas in fast-paced sales environment
- Ability to take on a consultative style when presenting ideas and products
- Strong foundational knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, technology stack, and technology and security processes and ecosystems
- Experience in selling through and with Channel partners, including MSPs,
- Clear understanding of Information Security, Risk and Compliance, and corporate IT teams buying processes
- Competency with customer relationship management platform Salesforce
- Solid knowledge of sales process including MEDDIC, Force Management, Challenger and Spin Sales Process
- The ability to travel approximately 20-40% of the time to regional meetings with prospects, customers, channel partners, ecosystem/integration partners and field marketing events
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
