**Role**:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager as a part of the Affiliate Support Team. You will be searching for new clients and market opportunities, but also managing an portfolio of accounts right from the start.
This position will be responsible for optimizing Affiliate Programs at TORO Advertising and will be in charge of improving our company market position and specifically grow our business within the Publishing field. You will be searching for new clients and market opportunities. You will be reporting to our Head of Publishing and liaising closely with the Advertising team to identify their needs.
**Profile**:
You understand the overall performance needs of online advertisers and you are able to grow the company's market share worldwide.
- Proactive, with strong communication and sales skills.
- Extremely organized and rigorous.
- Analytical mind, good with calculations and statistics.
- Strong team player and contributor.
- We will value any previous experience as a media buyer, sales account manager or affiliate manager.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead all phases of the sales lifecycle for potential advertisers: identify and develop leads, qualify leads, understand client needs, meet with clients, develop value proposition, structure deals, negotiate deal points, negotiate contracts and close.
- Create and maintain a Sales Pipeline using a CRM system.
- Be active in Skype, Facebook, Telegram groups to identify opportunities and leads.
- Detect client's business needs and recommend a media buying / selling strategy accordingly.
- Develop monthly / quarterly growth plans for your portfolio of new clients including budget allocations.
- Identify growth opportunities for existing accounts (cross-selling, upselling) in order to scale your clients.
- Recommend the best traffic sources across different sites, formats and device types.
- Recommend best targeting settings, features and optimization practices.
- Support clients on account related requests in coordination with other departments (account manager, compliance, finance, technical, etc)
- Interpret portfolio statistical data and compare with global data, effectively interpret campaign reports.
- Keep up to date with latest market news and industry trends.
**Requirements**:
- Perfect knowledge of the different CPA pricing models.
- Experience in tracking, optimizing/managing online advertising campaigns with a proven track record.
- Hands-on attitude and a good communicator.
- Ability to make decisions with little or no guidance when necessary.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Native English, written and spoken (other languages will be highly valued).
- Good knowledge and personal interest in online marketing and digital trends.
- A minimum of technical skills is required (experience working with conversion tracking, postback, web analytic tools, etc).
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office Products / Google Docs Editors.
