Job summary
*This position is available either in Madrid or Barcelona*

As Partner Sales Manager in Iberia (Spain and Portugal), you will deliver on our strategy to work with partners to accelerate adoption of Amazon’s infrastructure web services. Extensive experience working for, or with Systems Integrators, Managed Services Providers, Professional Services companies and Management Consulting firms is a must.

As a Partner Sales Manager, you enjoy teamwork and building bridges. In addition to your interaction with AWS partners, you will collaborate closely with AWS sales teams, partner development, marketing and solution architects. You will build and execute the go-to-market strategy for customers in your territory.

Key job responsibilities
- Help manage and drive joint engagements between SIs (System Integrators) or ISVs (Independent Software Vendors), AWS Partner Team and Account Management Team.
- Work with regional and country Partner Management and AWS sales teams in a highly collaborative operating model to help develop pipeline.
- Help build a strategic business development plan for target markets and ensure it is in line with the AWS strategic direction.
- Help execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. service teams, legal, support, etc.).
- Understand the technical requirements of partner and work closely with the internal development team to help guide the direction of product offerings.
- Understand and exploit the use of internal Amazon systems.
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.
- Provide help during contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group.
- Successful track record to achieving and exceeding quota and key performance metrics
- Proven ability to deliver results amid ambiguity and change
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Existing network with GSI, SI, VAR, ISV community in Spain
