**Key Responsibilities & Duties**
- Assuming overall responsibility for creating sales qualified leads (SQLs)
- Handling all incoming enquiries
- Prioritising opportunities
- Proactively contacting companies that have shown interest in our products or services, carrying out thorough research to identify the most appropriate targeted marketing
- Categorising potential customers, in line with the Customer Categorisation Model
- Work in partnership with the New Business Development Manager providing support where necessary and booking visits.
- Work on the leads provided by the Market Development Executives to gain visits and generate new customers.
- Proactively sending quotations to new customers and following up in a timely fashion
- Ensure that all internal systems (CRM and ERP) and databases are updated in a timely and accurate manner.
- Actively participate in internal and external meetings where assistance is required.

**Scope of Impact**
Depending on the age and geographic size of your delegation, the SDM role may have a defined area, a designated New Business Development Manager or Account Manager, or be targeted at a specific vertical market (i.e. industry type).

**Minimum requirements**:
- A proven track record in B2B sales as inside sales or Sales Develpomnet Executive.
- Entrepreneurial profile with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to fully utilise all available resources to accurately research potential customers.
- Ability to prioritise.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Confident and professional telephone manner with proven experience in establishing new business relationships.
- Proven experience in sales negotiations and project closure.
- Strong commercial mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and oral).
- Proactivity, resilience and persuasive skills.
- High problem solving skills.
**Desirable**:
- Previous experience in the industrial and logistics sector.
- A working knowledge of the new construction process.
- English (B2).
