**The Mission**

As pivotal component of Plug and Play growth strategy, this senior professional will lead the growth drive in the Iberia Peninsula targeting the top 100 companies to generate awareness, interest and ultimately revenue. Main focus will be capturing new accounts. Once business relationship has been established he will have to cultivate and grow the relationships to further upsell and bring about positive references so as to generate new customers.

Plug and Play has become a world leader in innovation in other world and European markets such as the US, Japan, Germany & France. The long term mission will consist in establishing Plug and Play as the leading innovation platform in Spain and Portugal.

Over time this senior professional will lead a team of professionals.

He will report and work in close collaboration with the Managing Director for Iberia and Benelux, and together they will share this goal of making Plug and Play the leading innovation platform in the region

**Key Responsibilities**

After understanding inside out the PNP innovation process and value proposition to Large Corporates. And how PNP by selecting the best start-ups, helps leading companies to create value by driving pilots that meet the strategic goals and objectives of this forward thinking corporations, this senior professional will have the following responsibilities:

- Generate awareness and interest within the top 100 largest corporations in the region. Apart from your own initiatives to generate opportunities you will work together with central marketing/communication team to generate events and other communication to help produce awareness and interest.
- Develop and execute account plans, identifying key decision makers (mainly heads of innovation and C-suite executives) meeting them and building relationships with and ultimately convincing them about PNP value proposition for innovation
- Cultivate and grow relationships once innovation has started in an existing client to identify further opportunities for upselling and generate further positive references.
- This role is also responsible for harnessing and implementing the latest sales tools and techniques from our global PNP network
- Overtime lead and motivate a team of experienced professionals in several areas of the company

**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated success acquiring new accounts, selling consulting or professional services or technical or IT solutions/projects in a B2B context. We are thinking for example of a Big4 professional or IT/Technical professional with proven success acquiring new clients selling projects/complex solutions
- General management experience and responsibilities over a Profit and loss in the past is a big plus
- Bachelors degree in business or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths)
- A Must: experience in implementing open innovation
- Well connected and with relevant contacts (C-suite professionals) in the corporate and innovation ecosystem in Netherlands
- Positive and open mindset, energetic. Good listener, analytical character, Strong willingness to learn and improve
- Passionate about sales & innovation. Enjoys technology and understanding latest developments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Language requirements: fluent in Spain and English. French is an asset
