Southern Europe Beverage Category Manager

Accor is currently looking for a **Southern Europe Beverage Category Manager**
to join our offices in Madrid, reporting to a F&B Senior Category Manager, and work together with the International/Base Category Management team.
Inside the Southern Europe teams of AccorHotels GPO, the Category Manager is responsible to ensure hotels in the Southern Europe HUB can benefit from the best quality and purchasing conditions for the Food & Beverages categories, participates in the definition of the Southern Europe procurement strategy, the scope of action and its implementation.
**WHAT IS THE JOB?**
The main missions are:
- **Offer range management**:
- Understanding of business & guest needs, as well as new trends
- Translation of these needs into Category « offer » Strategies
- Definition of product / services assortment range to meet these needs
- Definition of product/service specifications
- Responsibility on revenue and profit for categories in scope
- **Procurement/Sourcing Management**:
- Development of procurement sourcing strategy to enable Category vision (which suppliers to include, prioritization of tenders, supplier dependency review etc.)
- Alignment with BASE and Global Category Strategy
- Definition of best sourcing procurement process and frequency of price reviews
- Definition of the best logistic solution
- Development of new supplier base / innovation
- **Source to contract**:
- Lead on execution of RFI/RFP/RFQ
- Assessment of suppliers' proposals (products & services, price,)
- Shortlisting, negotiation, and decision on selected suppliers
- Closing & contracting with selected suppliers, implementation of contracts
- Supplier performance management & supplier relationship management
- **Coordination on Global categories and international contract roll-out**:
- Support & coordination with Corp for identification and deployment of best practices, synergies & massification potentials, highlighting local specificities
- Local implementation of international deals
- **Customer relationship building as country/regional category expert**
**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**:
- At least 5 years of experience in Procurement
- Business School / Master in Purchasing
- **Fluent in Spanish, English and Italian**
**Required skills**:
- Expertise in Procurement process & Category Management
- Specific knowledge in beverage purchasing and image contracts
- Analytical skills & organization skills
- Customer Focus
- Result-oriented
- CSR knowledge
- Excellent relationship and communication skills
- Strong team player
- Strong flexibility and agility skills to work in a very fast changing environment.
