This is a very exciting opportunity to join a new team in the Amazon Shipping business.
We are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial, analytical and customer-obsessed individual to join the Business Development team in Spain.
You will join the team selling Amazon Shipping services and will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline, detecting opportunities, negotiating with external companies and closing sales, as well as collecting market segment and customer insights to improve the product and delight the Amazon customers.

Key job responsibilities:
Customer relationship management: Building and maintaining strong top-level relationships with potential future strategic customersCross-functional collaboration: work with operations, product, and tech leaders to manage the program and build a product that fits the needs of customersDive deep: Measure performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and lead the team to address themBusiness development: Bring new customers to Amazon, develop the volume of shipping packages, ensure good conversion rate and do it with profitability in mind.
This role will be based in Madrid (4 Towers district, not Getafe) and with moderate travel within Spain (max.
15-20%)BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.
)
- Fluent in English and in Spanish
- Experience in business development, including hunting new clients, tailor-made deals negotiation and building a new portfolio from scratch
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience in the logistics and carrier industry
- Experience in fast-paced, high-tech environments, preferably a startup where you are used to wearing multiple hats at the same time
