Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough and organized Procurement Officer to oversee the procurement of construction related materials, services and equipment. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, products and services and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and meet the specified technical and quality standards. The Procurement Officer will follow all procurement procedures and maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory.

Responsibilities: Comply with Procurement Schedules for the purchase of equipment, services and materials. Coordinate transportation of materials to project sites. Create and maintain good relationships with all vendors/suppliers. Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply and pricing options to generate quote comparison sheets. Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts. Obtain samples for finishes, materials, etc. Obtain quotes from material suppliers, installers and other service providers. Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing carrying costs. Perform material take offs from drawings. Follow up on payments, delivery notes and invoices. Ensure all purchased items are delivered in a timely manner. Work with team members and Managers in order to fulfill job duties, as needed. General Project Administration including maintaining complete and accurate records. Any other tasks as required by the Manager – Projects and/or the Managing Director. Maintain and update supplier information such as track record, experience, product lines, etc. Maintain records of all purchases, pricing and other important data. Create Purchase Requisitions. Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience as a Procurement Assistant or a related position. Experience in the construction industry. Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies and systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.). Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently. Attention to detail. Goal-oriented, organized, team player. Must be willing to work onsite at Biñan Laguna. Can drive motorcycle or 4 wheels (Manual or Automatic). Job Type: Full-time
